Internal Sales Representative

Industrial Marketing Group SA is seeking an experienced and professional Internal Sales Representative to join our team based in Umhlali.

The successful candidate will support the sales function through customer communication, order processing, quotation follow-ups, stock coordination and general internal sales administration. This role requires someone who is organised, customer-focused and comfortable working within an industrial sales environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle internal sales enquiries from existing and prospective customers
• Maintain professional communication with customers telephonically and electronically
• Follow up on quotations issued to customers
• Process customer purchase orders accurately and efficiently
• Process customer invoices
• Coordinate and arrange the collection and delivery of stock
• Assist external sales staff with customer and sales-related administration
• Maintain accurate customer, order and sales records
• Assist with cold calling and setting appointments for sales representatives where required
• Provide professional and efficient customer service
• Ensure customer queries and requests are followed through to completion

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years' internal sales experience
• Previous experience within an industrial sales environment
• Minimum Matric / Grade 12
• Strong computer literacy is essential
• Experience using Omni is preferred
• Excellent telephone manner and communication skills
• Strong organisational and administrative skills
• Ability to process orders, invoices and quotations accurately
• Customer-focused and professional approach
• Ability to work efficiently within a busy office environment
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• High level of honesty, reliability and professionalism
• A valid driver's licence is preferred

Working Conditions

This is a permanent, office-based position located in Umhlali, KwaZulu-Natal.

Working hours are 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday, with no weekend or public holiday work.

Remuneration

A market-related basic salary will be offered based on the successful candidate's experience and suitability for the position.
