International Accountant (UK Process)

About the role

We are looking for an accounting professional with excellent communication skills for our UK accounting process. You will manage day-to-day accounts payable, accounts receivable and bookkeeping for UK clients. You will also be their point of contact by email and phone.

Key responsibilities

• Accounts payable: Process supplier invoices, match them against purchase orders, prepare payment runs, reconcile supplier statements and resolve queries.
• Accounts receivable: Raise sales invoices, allocate receipts, chase overdue payments, and maintain credit control and ageing reports.
• Bookkeeping: Post journals, maintain ledgers, reconcile bank and credit card accounts, and support month-end close.
• Keep accurate records in line with UK accounting practice (VAT, GBP transactions).
• Communicate clearly and professionally with UK clients and suppliers over email and phone.
• Meet turnaround times and accuracy targets.

Requirements

• B.Com, M.Com, BBA/MBA (Finance) or equivalent. CA Inter, CMA or ACCA (part-qualified) is a plus.
• Experience in AP, AR and bookkeeping, ideally in international or UK accounting.
• Hands-on knowledge of Xero, QuickBooks, Sage or similar. Advanced Excel.
• Excellent spoken and written English. You must be confident on client calls and write clear, professional emails.
• Willing to work the UK shift onsite in Mohali.

Good to have

• UK VAT and bank reconciliation experience
• Payroll or credit control exposure
• A neutral accent and strong telephone etiquette

Pay: Up to ₹1,200,000.00 per year
