International Logistics Manager

About the role

TG TRANS TRADE (THAILAND) CO., LTD. is seeking an experienced International Logistics Manager to join our dynamic team in Bangkok. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial strategic role in overseeing and optimising our international logistics operations. As International Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for managing complex supply chain processes, coordinating cross-border shipments, and ensuring seamless delivery of goods to our global customers. This role is essential to maintaining our competitive edge in the manufacturing, transport and logistics sector, and you will have a direct impact on our operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and oversee international shipments and logistics operations to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
• Manage relationships with freight forwarders, customs brokers, shipping lines and other logistics partners
• Monitor and optimise shipping routes, modes of transport and carrier selection to reduce costs and improve delivery performance
• Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations, customs requirements and documentation standards
• Track shipments and provide regular updates to customers regarding delivery status and estimated arrival times
• Manage inventory levels and warehouse operations to support international distribution requirements
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for international logistics processes
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance operational efficiency
• Prepare reports on logistics performance metrics and present findings to senior management
• Resolve logistics-related issues and disputes with suppliers, customers and service providers
• Liaise with customs authorities and handle documentation requirements for international trade
• Supervise and mentor logistics staff to ensure high performance and professional development

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of experience in international logistics, supply chain management or a related field
• Proven experience managing international shipments, customs clearance and cross-border trade operations
• Strong knowledge of international shipping regulations, Incoterms and customs documentation
• Experience with logistics management systems and supply chain software
• Excellent organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously
• Strong negotiation and relationship management skills with logistics service providers and customers
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous
• Problem-solving capabilities and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business or a related field
• Familiarity with Thai customs procedures and regional logistics networks is highly desirable
• Experience in manufacturing or trade-related industries would be beneficial
