International Mandarin Translator

Duties and responsibilities:

• Manage communication and maintain relationships with international and local clients.
• Meet with clients to discuss service requirements, project progress, and business needs.
• Prepare and manage Service Agreement Proposals (SAP), contracts, and other business documents.
• Translate contracts, agreements, and business documents between Indonesian, English, and/or Mandarin as required.
• Review and ensure the accuracy and consistency of translated legal and commercial documents.
• Develop and maintain a specialized translation glossary/dictionary for the construction and contractor industry.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure contract compliance and project documentation is complete.
• Support contract administration, document control, and client service activities.
• Assist in resolving client inquiries and ensuring smooth project coordination.
• Perform other administrative and documentation tasks related to international business services.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (Master’s a plus).
• Fluent Mandarin; professional Indonesian & English.
• 1–2 years relevant experience, preferably at a Chinese company; fresh grads welcome.
• Accurate translation/review of legal and commercial documents.
• Knowledge of contracts/commercial terms; construction context preferred.
• Strong communication; solid documentation/control; multitasking.
• Proficient MS Office/Google Workspace.
• Plus: FIDIC familiarity, HSK/IELTS/TOEIC/TOEFL, translation credentials, CAT tools.
• High integrity/confidentiality; willing to be based in Kemayoran/Gunung Sahari, Central Jakarta; willing to travel.
