International Visual Training & Development Specialist

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and business-oriented Visual Training & Development Specialist who will lead capability building initiatives for Visual Merchandising teams across our international operations.

This role is responsible for designing impactful learning journeys, developing talent pipelines, managing development programs, and ensuring that VM competencies are translated into measurable business and store performance outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Learning Design & Content Development

• Analyse competency gaps and learning needs of Visual Merchandising roles and Store Teams.
• Design end-to-end learning journeys, development programs and certification processes.
• Develop classroom, virtual, on-the-job and digital learning solutions.
• Create engaging learning materials including e-learning content, videos, guides, toolkits and assessment tools.
• Ensure learning content reflects current VM standards, customer expectations and business priorities.

Training Delivery & Facilitation

• Facilitate classroom trainings, workshops, webinars and field-based learning activities.
• Deliver training programs in English to international participants when required.
• Coach and support learners throughout their development journey.
• Collaborate with VM and business teams to ensure effective knowledge transfer and application.

Talent Development & Career Programs

• Manage VM promotion, certification and development programs.
• Support succession planning and readiness development initiatives for VM roles.
• Contribute to the development of future VM leaders through structured learning and mentoring activities.

Learning Effectiveness & Analytics

• Establish pre-training and post-training assessment methodologies.
• Measure learning impact through capability, performance and behavioural indicators.
• Monitor participation, progress and learning effectiveness metrics.
• Generate insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Stakeholder Management

• Partner closely with Retail Operations, Visual Merchandising, HR Functions and international country teams.
• Act as a trusted advisor for VM capability development initiatives.
• Coordinate regional and international learning projects when required.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Education, Psychology, Retail Management, Fashion Merchandising or related disciplines.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Learning & Development, Training, Visual Merchandising or Retail Development roles.
• Experience in designing and facilitating training programs.
• Experience in competency development, assessment and talent development projects is preferred.
• Experience in international and multicultural environments is an asset.

Technical Competencies

• Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
• Experience with digital learning platforms and content development tools.
• Ability to analyse learning data and generate actionable insights.
• Advanced MS Office skills, especially PowerPoint and Excel.

• Open to frequent travel.

Language Skills

• Fluent in English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
• Ability to deliver trainings in English is highly preferred.
