Internationalisation Engineer – Java | I18N | Localization

Key Responsibilities

• Own endtoend I18N architecture across UI, services, APIs, data, and integrations

• Define I18N design standards, patterns, and guardrails

• Ensure platform readiness for:

• Multilanguage support

• Localeaware date, time, number, currency handling

• Influence product and engineering roadmaps to avoid localisation debt

• Partner with UX, Product, QA, and Platform teams

• Conduct architecture and design reviews for I18N compliance

• Define I18N testing strategy (SIT, UAT, regression, automation)

• Identify risks early and guide mitigation across release cycles

• Mentor senior engineers and enforce architectural consistency

• Should have exposure to Legal and Financial requirement for the region

• Having exposure to distribution domain will be added advantage
