Job Description

You are joining the Collateral Management REPO & SBL team looking for a Counterparty risk manager , for an internship of 6 months from January 2027. As part of a team of 10 people, you will handle the daily coverage of exposures between Natixis and its counterparties for the FO desks of Global Securities Financing.

In collaboration with your tutor, your main tasks will be:

• The calculation of margin calls, sending and receiving notifications, exchanges with counterparties, the settlement of flows (cash and securities)
• The reconciliation of portfolios with counterparties, which includes analyzing and monitoring discrepancies in collaboration with the Settlement / Front-Office / Middle-Office / Risks teams
• The management of various requests from your counterparties and other internal services related to GSF activities.

Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience

As a BAC+5 student, you are preparing a degree (university, business school or engineering school), with a specialization in market finance. You have a good command of AI tools and the pack-office. You have a good understanding of market activities and products. You have a good knowledge of the front-to-back processing chain. Professional experience in the world of finance, particularly in collateral management, would be an asset. You have excellent interpersonal skills, a very good listening ability. You demonstrate resistance to stress, rigor, and are able to work as part of a team while communicating effectively with cross-functional teams and partners. And last but not least, you are perfectly fluent in English.
