Internship - Accounting

Work Location

✅ Kuala Lumpur: Sunway Velocity (Cochrane / Maluri MRT)

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing partial or full sets of accounts on a monthly, quarterly, or yearly basis
• Perform account reconciliations and maintain accounting schedules, including bank reconciliations, AP reconciliations, payroll reports, fixed asset schedules, lease schedules
• Liaise with clients to obtain the necessary information and supporting documents for accounting work
• Assist in identifying and resolving accounting discrepancies and outstanding items
• Gain hands-on experience with accounting software (AutoCount and Xero), Microsoft Excel, and other relevant IT tools used in accounting work
• Perform general administrative and other ad-hoc tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Possess or currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or an equivalent qualification
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Self-initiative
• Meticulous and organised
• Minimum internship duration of 3 months
