Join REHDA Institute and gain hands-on exposure to high-level corporate events, public relations, media engagement and communications work—including programmes involving Ministers, VVIPs and senior industry leaders.

This internship is designed for serious candidates who want to build a strong foundation for a future career in corporate communications, public relations, events, media and marketing communications.

What You Can Look Forward To

• Exposure to high-level corporate events involving Ministers, VVIPs and industry leaders
• Practical experience in public relations, press publicity and media coordination
• Opportunities to support corporate events, conferences and stakeholder engagement
• Strong teamwork, mentorship and structured on-the-job learning
• Allowance reviews approximately every three months, subject to performance and confirmation
• Opportunities for selected interns to travel within Malaysia and overseas for work assignments
• A Board-presented completion award for interns who successfully complete the minimum six-month programme
• Good references and potential consideration for a Junior Executive position upon completion

Internship Allowance Structure

Internship period

Monthly allowance

First three months RM1,000
Second three months RM1,250 (subject to confirmation by the superior)
Third three months RM1,500 (subject to confirmation by the superior)

Allowance progression is performance-based and subject to the relevant confirmation and approval process.

Internship Duration

• Minimum commitment: Six months
• Commencement: Oct, Nov 2026
• Applicants must be available to complete the full internship period
• Only final-semester students or candidates who have completed their degree programme will be considered

Requirements

• Final-semester degree student or recent graduate who has completed the course
• Serious, responsible and willing to learn
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Good command of English and Bahasa Melayu
• Knowledge of an additional language will be a strong advantage
• Able to work well in a team and manage responsibilities professionally
• Willing to support events, media activities and occasional travel
• Possess own transport—motorcycle or car—to support work-related requirements

More Than an Internship

This opportunity is suitable for candidates who are genuinely interested in being considered for a Junior Executive position after completing the internship.

Successful interns who demonstrate strong performance, professionalism and commitment may be considered for retention and future opportunities, including exciting local and selected international work assignments.
