About the role

The Accounting OJT will assist the accounting and finance team with daily accounting tasks while gaining practical experience in bookkeeping, financial documentation, data entry, and basic financial reporting. The trainee will work under the supervision of accounting staff and will be expected to maintain accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in recording and organizing financial transactions
• Encode invoices, receipts, vouchers, and other accounting documents
• Assist in preparing and filing accounting records and supporting documents
• Help with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
• Assist in reconciling financial records and checking discrepancies
• Prepare and organize reports, spreadsheets, and other accounting-related documents
• Assist with data entry using accounting software or Microsoft Excel
• Monitor and maintain proper filing of financial documents
• Support the accounting team with administrative and clerical tasks
• Perform other accounting-related duties assigned by the supervisor
