Internship

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient Kotlin code for mobile applications (Android or other platforms) and back-end services.
• Work closely with senior developers, designers, and product managers to build high-quality apps and features.
• Participate in debugging, writing unit tests, and ensuring the application performs optimally across different devices and environments.
• Stay updated with the latest Kotlin features and best practices to improve application development.
• Review other team members code, providing constructive feedback and suggestions.
• Document code and processes, ensuring smooth handovers and maintainability.
• Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives as part of an Agile development cycle.
• Focus on performance, security, and scalability improvements in mobile apps.

Requirements

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of Kotlin programming language, especially in the context of Android or back-end development.
• Experience with Android development (via Android Studio) or other Kotlin-supported platforms.
• Basic knowledge of working with databases (SQL/NoSQL), RESTful APIs, and data storage.
• Proficiency in using Git for version control in collaborative projects.
• Ability to analyze problems and find solutions effectively.

Skills

• Understanding of Kotlin syntax, data structures, control flow, and object-oriented principles.
• Familiarity with Android SDK, UI/UX design principles, and app lifecycle.
• Knowledge of integrating third-party services and APIs (REST, JSON, etc.).
• Awareness of creating seamless and responsive user interfaces.

Guidelines for Kotlin Development Internship

• The internship will be conducted digitally via Skype.

• Internship will be practical based.

• You will be assigned a project and you have to complete it within a set of timeline.

• Applicants must have their own laptop/desktop and a high-speed internet connection.

• Upon successful completion of the project, you will receive a 6 Months / 12 Month Experience Certificate based on your internship.
