INTERNSHIP DIGITALIZATION, AI & TOOLS DEVELOPMENT FOR ROAMING OPERATIONS (F/M)

About Us Network Solutions Factory is the first international center for mobile & fixed networks management and operations located in France.

Initially created to internalize the engineering and operation activities of Salt mobile and fixed network in Switzerland, Network Solutions Factory opened in Lyon in July 2015. Since 2018, we have expanded our operations worldwide with Eir in Ireland, Free Senegal, Epic Cyprus, Epic Malta, Monaco Telecom and recently Tigo in several Latin American countries.

CONTEXT AND MISSION We are offering a Digitalization, AI & Tools Development for Roaming Operations Internship.

As part of the development and transformation of our international Roaming activities, the intern will contribute to improving the way Roaming operations are monitored, managed and automated across several international mobile operators.

Working closely with the Roaming Operations team and the Automation team, you will be responsible for:

• Centralizing and harmonizing the operational tracking files used across Tigo operations, consolidating data and improving the reliability of activity monitoring.
• Contributing to the design, development or deployment of a centralized ticketing solution to track results, actions, SLA, aging issues, blocking points and responsible teams.
• Developing dashboards, KPIs and alerts to provide a consolidated view of activity, workload, progress, delays and operational priorities.
• Exploring and implementing Artificial Intelligence use cases for Roaming operations, including blocker detection, quick-win identification, activity prioritization and automated reporting.

CANDIDATE PROFILE You are currently completing an Engineering or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data, Telecommunications or a related field, and are looking for a 6-month end-of-study internship.

You are interested in software development, automation, data and Artificial Intelligence, and motivated by the opportunity to apply these technologies to real operational challenges.

You are curious, proactive and autonomous, with a problem-solving mindset. You enjoy analyzing existing solutions, understanding how they work, identifying areas for improvement and turning business needs into practical technical solutions.

You are comfortable working in an international and multicultural environment and have a good command of English, both written and spoken.

You Have Knowledge Of

• Python and Web development
• SQL and databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Elasticsearch, etc.)
• Data processing, visualization and dashboards
• APIs and system integration
• Git and software development environments

The Following Would Be Considered a Plus

• Experience with Django, Flask or FastAPI
• Knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and modern Web frameworks such as React
• Experience with REST APIs and application integration
• Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines and deployment environments
• Knowledge or interest in AI / Generative AI and automation
• Basic understanding of telecommunications, mobile networks or Roaming
