INTERNSHIP FINANCE/ACCOUNTS

About the role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Finance / Accounts Intern to support the Finance & Accounts Department in daily accounting operations, financial documentation, data entry, and administrative tasks. This internship provides an opportunity to gain practical experience in accounting procedures, financial reporting, and general finance operations in a professional working environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with daily accounting and finance operations.
• Perform data entry for invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions.
• Assist in preparing and processing invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and other accounting documents.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Assist with filing, organizing, and maintaining financial records and supporting documents.
• Perform bank statement reconciliation and assist with checking financial transactions.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly reports and financial schedules.
• Support month-end closing activities and other accounting tasks as assigned.
• Verify invoices, purchase orders, delivery orders, and other supporting documents.
• Assist in monitoring outstanding payments and following up on documentation with relevant departments.

About you

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Familiarity with accounting software is an advantage.
• Good numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Willingness to learn, take initiative, and work independently as well as in a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
