Internship for Production

Job Scope

• Assist in daily production operations and support the activities of the assigned department.
• Assist in monitoring food safety and hygiene practices on the production floor.
• Participate in internal inspections and audits.
• Support sampling and testing of raw materials and finished products.
• Assist in identifying, reporting and following up on non-conformances.
• Participate in departmental projects and improvement initiatives.
• Gain practical exposure to company SOPs and food safety standards, including HACCP, GMP, FSSC 22000 and HALAL.
• Perform hands-on activities such as basic inspections, sampling, testing and data collection.
• Assist with document preparation, reporting and other administrative tasks.
• Work closely with supervisors and team members to achieve internship learning objectives.

Job Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Manufacturing, Production, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of food safety, hygiene and manufacturing practices is an advantage.
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, FSSC 22000 and HALAL is an added advantage.
• Good attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Able to follow SOPs, work instructions and safety requirements.
• Willing to work in a food manufacturing / production environment and perform hands-on tasks.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Responsible, proactive and able to work well with others.
• Basic computer skills for documentation, data entry and reporting.
• Available for an internship period of 3 months, 4 months, 6 months or longer.
