Internship Graphic Designer

JOB LOCATION:

Kajang or Hulu Langat.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Design Posters for Social Media, Booklets, or Catalogues

• Create visually appealing and engaging posters for social media platforms to promote events and products.
• Design booklets and catalogues that effectively communicate information and enhance the user experience.
• Ensure all designs align with the brand’s visual identity and messaging.

2. Design Medals for Sports Events

• Conceptualize and design unique medals for various sports events, considering themes, participant demographics, and event branding.
• Collaborate with event coordinators and suppliers to ensure the design is feasible for production.

3. Added Advantage: Design T-Shirt Sublimation

• Utilize skills in designing t-shirt sublimation prints, creating eye-catching and on-brand apparel for events or merchandise.
• Work with vendors to ensure designs are accurately translated to final products.

4. Edit Images and Improvements

• Perform image editing tasks to enhance the quality of photos and graphics used in promotional materials.
• Apply retouching, color correction, and other techniques to improve visual content.

5. Assist Senior Designer in Day-to-Day Operations

• Provide support to the senior designer on various projects and tasks, ensuring smooth workflow and timely completion of design assignments.
• Take on additional responsibilities as needed, contributing to the overall productivity of the design team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Creative Mind and Idea Generation : Possess a strong creative flair and the ability to generate innovative ideas for design projects.

2. Knowledge of Color Manipulation : Understand color theory and how to effectively manipulate color combinations to create visually appealing designs.

3. Educational Background : Diploma or degree in Graphic Design or a related field.

4. Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop : Skilled in using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for various design tasks, including vector graphics, image editing, and layout design.

5. Added Advantage: Knowledge in Lightroom, After Effects, etc. : Experience with additional Adobe Creative Suite applications like Lightroom for photo editing and After Effects for motion graphics is a plus.

6. Added Skill Advantage: Knowledge in Canva : Proficiency in using Canva for quick and efficient design tasks, particularly for social media graphics and other digital content.

7. Additional Skill Advantage: 3D Object or Mockup Creation : Ability to create 3D objects or mockups to visualize products or designs in a three-dimensional space.

8. Independent Work and Deadline Management : Able to work independently, meet deadlines, and handle pressure, especially during peak seasons.

9. Dedicated, Disciplined, and Responsible : Demonstrate dedication, discipline, and responsibility with a positive attitude towards work and team collaboration.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate
