About the role
Mechanical Engineering Intern to assist the engineering team in mechanical design, technical documentation, quality assurance, and production support.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and updating 2D engineering drawings
- Assist in creating and modifying 3D models and assemblies
- Prepare and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM)
- Ensure drawings and BOMs are accurate and properly revised
- Support Quality Assurance (QA) activities, including dimensional and visual inspection
- Verify manufactured or purchased parts against engineering drawings and specifications
- Assist in checking product dimensions, tolerances, materials, and workmanship
- Support engineering documentation and drawing revision control
- Assist engineers with product design improvements and troubleshooting
- Coordinate with production, purchasing, and suppliers regarding technical requirements
