About the Role

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Interns to join our team in the fast-growing data centre industry, with opportunities in Procurement, Cost Engineering and Quantity Surveying. Potential opportunity to be absorbed into a permanent position upon successful completion of the internship, subject to performance, suitability and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement Intern (Johor)

• Assist with sourcing and evaluating suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Support the preparation of RFQs, quotations, purchase orders, and procurement documentation.
• Assist in comparing supplier quotations and preparing cost comparison sheets.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to follow up on quotations, deliveries, and documentation.
• Maintain procurement records, databases, and project documentation.
• Assist with market research and supplier evaluation.

Cost Engineering Intern (Johor/ KL)

• Assist with project cost estimation, budgeting, and cost tracking.
• Support the preparation and updating of cost reports and cost analysis.
• Assist in monitoring project expenditure against approved budgets.
• Prepare cost comparisons and support the review of quotations and variations.
• Assist with data collection and analysis for project cost forecasting.
• Maintain cost-related documentation and project records.

Quantity Surveying Intern (Johor/ KL)

• Assist with quantity take-offs, measurements, and preparation of Bills of Quantities.
• Support the preparation and evaluation of subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Assist with variation orders, progress claims, and payment documentation.
• Support cost control and commercial reporting activities.
• Assist with contract and tender documentation.
• Participate in site visits and project coordination when required.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in:

  • Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil / Structural Engineering, Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, Procurement / Supply Chain Management, Cost Engineering, Business / Finance or a related field

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.

• Good attention to detail and willingness to learn.

• Able to speak Mandarin/ Chinese is an added advantage.
