Internship (Project Department)

Role Summary

To assist the Project Team in coordinating new outlet renovation and upgrading projects while gaining hands-on experience in project documentation, drawings, submissions, and project coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating with architects, consultants, and runners on project-related matters.
• Assist with preparing, organising, and maintaining project drawings and documents.
• Support the team in BOMBA drawing preparation, submissions, and follow-ups.
• Assist with Local Council / PBT renovation permit applications and related documentation.
• Follow up on project submissions, approvals, permits, and outstanding requirements.
• Update project trackers and maintain proper records of project documents and approvals.
• Assist in following up on authority comments, revisions, and resubmissions.
• Provide support to the Project Manager on daily project coordination and administrative tasks.
• Assist with project site visits when required.
• Perform other project-related and ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Construction, Interior Design, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Organised, responsible, and willing to learn.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to travel to project sites when required.

Job Type: Internship

Contract length: 3 - 6 months

Internship allowance: RM500.00 per month (Diploma students), RM800.00 (Degree students)

Work Location: Focus Point Head Office, Jalan PJU 1/37, Dataran Prima, 47301 Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
