Internship-Project Engineer

We are looking for a motivated Project Engineer Intern to join our engineering team in Johor Bahru. This internship is suitable for students pursuing Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Engineering or a related engineering discipline who are interested in gaining practical experience in project engineering and site operations.

We prefer candidates who are interested in continuing with the company as a full-time employee after completing their internship, subject to performance and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Project Engineers in the planning, coordination and execution of engineering projects.
• Support project documentation, reports, drawings and other technical documentation.
• Assist with monitoring project progress, schedules and site activities.
• Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, suppliers and other project stakeholders.
• Assist in checking project materials, equipment and technical requirements.
• Participate in site visits and inspections when required.
• Support the Project Engineer in resolving project-related technical and operational issues.
• Assist in preparing project updates and progress reports.
• Ensure project activities are carried out according to company requirements, specifications and safety procedures.
• Perform other engineering and project-related duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in M&E Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a relevant background.
• Strong interest in project engineering and technical work.
• Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Willing to learn and take on new responsibilities.
• Willing to travel to project sites when required.
• Candidates must based in Johor Bahru.

Pay: RM1,000.00 per month
