Quality Assurance Intern – Job Description

• Objective : To give exposure to the intern on managing and implementing the smooth coordination and communication of all departments with respect to product quality, problem solving and achieving the target set by the APM Auto Electrics Sdn. Bhd.
• Key Opportunities & Roles :
• Introduction on the Quality Department related task/function such as Product Quality including incoming, in-process and outgoing. Engagement monitoring, process improvements and compliance operations. The relevant tasks are inspecting products, documenting results, and investigating quality issues.
• Introduction to Quality Management System (QMS) i.e. IATF16949, ISO9001, Environmental Management System (EMS) i.e. ISO14001 and APM Manufacturing System (AMS) and ensure the relevant procedures are implemented and maintained at all levels.
• Assist in controlling and maintaining the efficient calibration related task.
• Assist to ensure the daily operation requirements is done effectively.
• Organizational Relationships : Reporting Structure - Report direct to Head of QA, and Supervise Quality Inspectors. Key interactions : Inter-departmental communication.
• Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) - Monitor and analyze the internal rejection data & target.
• Know-How : Interpersonal Skills - Team work, attention to details, adaptability, initiative, communication skills and resilience.
• Working Conditions : Physical environment - Normal working conditions. Stress & Pressure : To complete all relevant task within the stipulated timeline given. Travel Requirements - Able to travel to customer and/or supplier site with supervision.

Pay: RM500.00 - RM600.00 per month
