Petroluxe Refinery (M) Sdn. Bhd. is a refining and petrochemical enterprise established in Malaysia with investment from private Chinese capital. The Company operates a modern refinery located in Gebeng, Kuantan, Pahang, Malaysia.

The Company's Phase I project has an annual processing capacity of 1.2 million tonnes and is scheduled to commence operations in 2027. Subsequent Phase II and Phase III developments are planned to expand the Company's refining and petrochemical facilities to a total capacity of 5 million tonnes per year.

Internship Opportunities

We are currently offering internship opportunities in the Quality Control / Laboratory Analysis

Interns will be assigned to the respective department and receive practical training and exposure based on their assigned role.

Training & Development

Selected candidates will undergo a structured 4–6 month training programme covering Company Policies & Procedures, Laboratory Safety & HSE Awareness, Laboratory Operations & Procedures, Sample Collection & Handling, Chemical Handling & Storage, Laboratory Equipment & Instrumentation, Quality Control & Testing Procedures, Laboratory Documentation & Record Management, and Role-Specific Practical Training.

Candidates will receive training and ongoing performance assessment throughout the internship.

At the end of the programme, candidates will complete a theoretical examination and practical assessment relevant to their assigned role.

Candidates who successfully complete the required assessments will proceed to formal employment and sign a long-term employment contract.

• Allowance: RM1,500 per month, inclusive of transportation and meal allowances

Job Requirements

• Diploma or above in Applied Chemistry, Chemistry, Chemical Technology, Laboratory Technology, or other related disciplines.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy in sample handling, testing and record keeping.
• Physically fit and able to work in a refinery and industrial environment.
• Responsible, disciplined and safety-conscious.
• Willing to undergo structured training and practical assessment.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.
• Mandarin proficiency, both written and spoken, will be an added advantage.
