Internship - Quantity Surveyor

About the role

As an Intern Quantity Surveyor at Duraform Engineering, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of construction projects. This is a full-time position in Subang Jaya, Selangor.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in quantity take-off and cost estimation
• Support the preparation of tender documents, quotations, and Bills of Quantities (BQ)
• Assist in evaluating subcontractor and supplier quotations
• Help prepare progress claims, payment certificates, and final accounts
• Maintain project cost records and documentations
• Perform other tasks assigned by the QS or Project Manager

About you

• Pursuing a Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering
• Ability to comprehend construction drawings especially for steel structures
• Basic knowledge of construction materials and installation methods
• Good communication and management skills
• Proficient in the use of Excel, basic AutoCAD knowledge is a plus
