About the role

PT Ocean Centra Furnindo is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Social Media Intern to join our Marketing & Communications team. This is a full-time internship opportunity based in Kelapa Gading, Jakarta Raya. In this role, you will support the development and execution of our social media strategy, helping to build brand awareness and engage with our audience across multiple digital platforms. This position offers valuable hands-on experience in digital marketing and social media management within a dynamic, growing organisation.

What you'll be doing

• Creating, editing and scheduling engaging social media content across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and LinkedIn
• Monitoring social media channels and responding to comments, messages and inquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Analysing social media performance metrics and providing insights to optimise content strategy
• Researching trending topics and identifying opportunities to increase brand engagement and reach
• Assisting with the development of social media campaigns and promotional activities
• Collaborating with the marketing team to ensure consistent brand messaging and visual identity
• Gathering and organising user-generated content and customer testimonials
• Supporting the creation of graphics, infographics and other visual content for social media posts
• Tracking competitor activity and industry trends to inform content strategy

What we're looking for

• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Digital Media or a related field
• Demonstrated passion for social media and digital marketing with knowledge of current trends and best practices
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail
• Proficiency in social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and LinkedIn
• Experience with basic graphic design tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar software (preferred)
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and take direction from senior staff
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Creative thinking with the ability to generate original content ideas
• Familiarity with social media analytics tools and understanding of key performance indicators (preferred)
