About the role
Skynet Worldwide (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Internship Student to join our Cargo & Logistics team. This is an excellent opportunity for a student to gain practical experience within the Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics sector whilst developing valuable skills in data analysis, reporting, and business operations. Based in Subang Jaya, Selangor, this is a part-time position that offers flexibility to balance your academic commitments with hands-on industry experience. You will work alongside experienced professionals who are committed to mentoring and supporting your professional development.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting with the collection, compilation, and organisation of operational data from various departments
• Supporting the preparation of reports
• Conducting data quality checks and identifying discrepancies or areas requiring clarification
• Assisting with the analysis of logistics and transport operations to identify trends and patterns
• Supporting the creation of presentations and visual reports for management review
• Liaising with different teams to gather necessary information and clarify data requirements
• Learning and applying industry-standard reporting tools and software
• Contributing to process improvements and identifying opportunities for enhanced reporting efficiency

What we're looking for

• Currently enrolled as a student in a relevant discipline such as business, logistics, supply chain, data analysis, commerce, or related field
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel for data manipulation and analysis
• Basic understanding of data analysis concepts and reporting principles
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to work independently whilst collaborating effectively within a team environment
• Keen interest in the logistics, transport, or manufacturing industries
