Internship: Supply Chain Management

Overview:

Our Supply Chain Management Internship Program is designed to provide students with practical exposure to logistics, import/export processes, and delivery performance monitoring. Interns will gain hands-on experience in dashboard creation, lead time analysis, and proof of delivery tracking, while developing analytical and operational skills essential for modern supply chain management.

Objectives:

• Provide interns with practical knowledge of supply chain operations and performance monitoring.
• Strengthen analytical skills through dashboard creation and lead time analysis.
• Enhance understanding of import/export processes and delivery cycle times.
• Develop competencies in reporting, documentation, and supply chain optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

Interns will actively contribute to the Supply Chain team by:

• Developing and maintaining the Goods-In-Transit (GIT) Dashboard.

• Assisting in the Import Lead Times Dashboard (Standard vs. Actual), including:

  • Import Lead Time (door-to-port)
  • Customs Clearance Lead Time
  • Delivery Lead Time (port-to-door)

• Supporting the Delivery Lead Times Dashboard (Standard vs. Actual), including:

  • Delivery Lead Time (door-to-door)
  • STO Lead Time (door-to-door)
  • Proof of Delivery (POD) Cycle Time per route

• Preparing reports and documentation to support supply chain efficiency.

Learning Outcomes:

By the end of the program, interns will:

• Understand the fundamentals of supply chain management and logistics.
• Gain practical experience in dashboard creation and performance monitoring.
• Develop skills in analyzing lead times and delivery processes.
• Acquire insights into how supply chain efficiency impacts organizational success.

Candidate Profile:

We seek a motivated individual who is:

• In their 3rd – 4th year

• Enrolled in any of the following courses:

  • BS Information Technology
  • BS Data Science
  • BS Industrial Engineering
  • BS Entrepreneurial Management
  • BS Business Administration

• Analytical with strong problem-solving and technical skills.

• Detail-oriented with proficiency in data visualization and reporting.

• Interested in developing expertise in logistics, supply chain monitoring, and operational efficiency.

Note: We are looking for student interns who are seeking to complete their school mandated OJT requirements since we will have to establish an MOA with the respective intern schools.
