INTERNSHIP : Supply Chain Trainee

About the Role

We are looking for a Supply Chain Trainee to join our Supply Chain Department. This internship provides hands-on exposure to Production Planning and Material Management, including production scheduling, material availability, inventory monitoring and coordination with relevant departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and updating production plans and schedules.
• Monitor production progress and update relevant planning records.
• Assist in checking production requirements against material availability.
• Monitor raw material availability and identify potential material shortages.
• Assist in monitoring inventory levels and maintaining accurate material records.
• Support material planning activities based on production requirements.
• Assist in coordinating with Production, Purchasing and Warehouse on material requirements and delivery status.
• Assist in updating planning and material information in the relevant system.
• Prepare and maintain production planning, material and inventory reports.
• Assist with data entry, data checking and analysis using Microsoft Excel.
• Support process improvement and other Supply Chain activities as assigned by the supervisor.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Willing to learn and take on new responsibilities.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
