Key responsibilities

Responsibilities vary by internship area:

• Engineering – Mechanical & Electrical (M&E): Assist the project team in M&E coordination and daily project activities, support site activities, documentation and reporting, assist in monitoring work progress and project coordination, gain practical exposure to M&E engineering and construction operations
• Engineering – Civil & Structural (C&S): Assist engineers and supervisors with site and project coordination, support monitoring of construction progress, assist in drawings, documentation and reporting, gain practical exposure to civil and structural construction activities
• Mechanical Design Engineering: Assist in mechanical engineering design activities, support the preparation and review of engineering drawings, assist with technical documentation and calculations, work alongside experienced engineers on ongoing projects
• Quantity Surveyor (QS): Assist in quantity take-off and measurement, preparation of cost estimates and tender documentation, review of supplier and subcontractor quotations, progress claims, variation works, cost monitoring and other commercial activities related to construction projects
• Purchasing / Procurement: Assist in sourcing materials and suppliers, request, compile and compare quotations, prepare and maintain purchasing documentation, follow up on purchase orders and deliveries, support coordination with suppliers, project teams and internal departments
• Human Resources (HR): Assist in recruitment and onboarding activities, support HR administration and documentation, assist in employee engagement and HR operations, maintain HR records and support reporting and coordination activities
• Accounts / Finance: Assist with daily accounting and finance operations, support invoice and payment documentation, assist with data entry, filing and account reconciliation, support the preparation and maintenance of accounting records and reports

About you

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
• Required to undergo an internship as part of the academic programme
• Responsible, proactive and eager to learn
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Able to commit to the required internship period
