Job Overview
The Intervener plays a crucial role in supporting individuals with disabilities, particularly in educational settings. This position focuses on fostering communication, social skills, and academic development through tailored interventions. The Intervener will work closely with clients to enhance their learning experiences and promote independence.
Monday - Friday : 9 am - 3 pm or 8am-4pm
Duties
- Provide individualized support to adults with disabilities, facilitating their participation in activities.
- Assist in the development of literacy programs or activities.
- Support development by encouraging social interactions and communication among peers.
- Monitor progress and adapt interventions as necessary to meet each client's unique needs.
- We are willing to TRAIN the right individuals with no experience.
Skills
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities, demonstrating patience and empathy.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with everyone.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $13.00 per hour
