Interventional Rad Tech

Role Overview: This position involves performing diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures, including angiography, venography, myelography, nephro-ureteral, and gastrointestinal studies, along with modality-assisted drainage and biopsies.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform all interventional radiology procedures proficiently across all age groups, including patient positioning, protocol selection, and equipment utilization.
• Maintain competency in related procedures and adhere to established imaging protocols.
• Ensure patient safety and high-quality care tailored to age-specific needs.
• Follow radiation safety policies and principles of dose reduction.
• Provide patient education and clear communication regarding procedures.
• Complete post-processing functions and record-keeping accurately.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program or accredited hospital-based training.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (R) and BLS Certified.
• No prior work experience required.
