Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Interventionist to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will work closely with students to provide targeted support and intervention strategies that enhance their learning experience. This role is essential in fostering academic growth and addressing the individual needs of students, particularly those who may require additional assistance in their educational journey.

Duties

• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans tailored to meet the specific needs of each student.
• Monitor student progress through regular assessments and adjust strategies as necessary to ensure effective learning outcomes.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to create a supportive learning environment.
• Utilize behavior management techniques to promote positive student behavior and engagement.
• Provide academic support in core subjects, particularly in Math, to help students achieve their learning goals.
• Assist in the development of instructional materials and resources that align with students' needs.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and interventions using Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education and special education.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in an educational setting.
• Strong background in behavior management strategies and techniques.
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
• Familiarity with special education requirements and instructional design methodologies.
• Experience in academic advising or providing support to students with diverse learning needs is highly desirable.
• Ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues while fostering a positive learning environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with stakeholders.

Type: Full-time

Pay: Starting at $37,500/year; pay depends on years of experience and degree provided.

Location: Somerset Pines Academy and Somerset Academy Pompano
