Role Description The Interventionist is a full-time, on-site role based in San Antonio, TX, supporting students who need targeted academic and behavioral interventions. This role involves analyzing student data to identify learning gaps, planning and delivering small-group and individualized instruction, and monitoring progress toward specific goals. The Interventionist collaborates closely with classroom teachers, campus administrators, counselors, and families to coordinate supports and align intervention plans with curriculum and district initiatives. Daily responsibilities include documenting interventions, maintaining accurate records, participating in response-to-intervention (RTI) and student support meetings, and adjusting strategies based on ongoing assessment results. The Interventionist also contributes to a positive school climate by modeling inclusive practices, supporting classroom management, and promoting student engagement and success.

• Candidates should possess strong instructional and intervention skills, including experience with small-group teaching, differentiated instruction, and data-driven academic support.
• Candidates should possess assessment and data analysis skills, including the ability to interpret student performance data, set measurable goals, and track progress over time.
• Candidates should possess communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to work effectively with educators, administrators, families, and support staff to coordinate services for students.
• Candidates should possess classroom management and student support skills, including behavior intervention strategies, positive reinforcement techniques, and the ability to create safe, inclusive learning environments.
• Candidates should possess organizational and documentation skills, including accurate recordkeeping, timely reporting, and adherence to district policies and procedures.
• Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field; valid Texas teaching certification or eligibility for certification is preferred.
• Experience working in K–12 settings, especially in urban or diverse school communities, and familiarity with RTI/MTSS frameworks are beneficial.
