Interventionist for Elementary Students

• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans tailored to each student’s unique needs, focusing on literacy, math, behavior management, and social skills.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and special education staff to integrate intervention strategies seamlessly into daily lessons.
• Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions that reinforce core concepts in reading, writing, math, and physical education.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively by applying conflict management techniques and positive reinforcement strategies.
• Design engaging lesson plans that incorporate curriculum development principles and instructional design best practices.
• Maintain detailed documentation of student progress, intervention outcomes, and communication logs with families and staff.

• Prior classroom experience in elementary or preschool settings, including preschool or toddler care environments.
• Experience working with children with disabilities or behavioral challenges using effective behavior management techniques.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, teachers, and support staff.
• Background in literacy education, math instruction, physical education, or library services is a plus.

Pay: $14.50 - $16.00 per hour
