Interview Performer

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Labor Interviewer to conduct real interviews with applicants for hourly, blue-collar, and field-based positions in the U.S. market.

The ideal candidate has experience in recruiting, interviewing, or screening workers for labor-intensive positions. This person will interview applicants, verify their work experience, assess their availability and qualifications, and determine whether they meet the requirements for specific job openings.

The role requires strong communication skills, good judgment, and the ability to conduct multiple interviews while maintaining accurate candidate records.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct real phone or video interviews with applicants for labor and hourly positions.
• Screen candidates for roles such as cleaners, general laborers, warehouse workers, construction workers, and other field-based positions.
• Ask structured questions about work history, relevant experience, availability, transportation, and job requirements.
• Assess candidates' reliability, communication skills, professionalism, and suitability for the position.
• Verify that applicants meet the basic requirements of each job opening.
• Explain job responsibilities, schedules, locations, and working conditions to candidates.
• Identify qualified applicants and recommend suitable candidates to the recruiting team or hiring manager.
• Maintain accurate interview notes and update candidate information in the ATS or CRM.
• Coordinate follow-ups and additional interview steps when needed.
• Manage a high volume of interviews while ensuring candidates receive timely communication.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in recruiting, candidate screening, interviewing, or staffing.
• Experience interviewing candidates for blue-collar, hourly, or field-based positions is highly preferred.
• Strong spoken English and professional phone communication skills.
• Ability to conduct structured interviews and evaluate candidates objectively.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple applicants and interviews daily.
• Comfortable working with recruiting software, spreadsheets, ATS platforms, or CRM systems.
• Ability to work independently and meet recruiting targets.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience recruiting for U.S. labor markets, particularly New York or New Jersey.
• Background in staffing agencies, high-volume recruiting, or workforce management.
• Familiarity with hourly hiring, shift-based work, and field worker requirements.
• Experience working with candidates from diverse backgrounds.

• Identify qualified and available workers efficiently.
• Communicate interview outcomes and candidate recommendations promptly.
