Inventory Accountant

About the role

The Inventory Accountant consolidates and provides correct tagging of sales liquidation per category. All reports prepared by the Inventory Accountant are subject for review of the Cost Accounting Officer.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Cost Accounting Officer in Inventory related process
• Assist Cost Accounting Officer in Month-end closing requirements
• Ensure proper mapping and tagging of items from stores/accounts to the company's system
• Perform account consolidation of monthly scan data and reconcile it with actual liquidation for Invoicing
• Closely coordinate with ISD and Sales regarding material codes and store location requirements
• Prepare detailed breakdowns for items involving Price Point and Partner SKUs stores
• Monthly recording and monitoring of allowances in Inventory Shrinkage and DTA
• Validate actual physical stocks against the BODR submitted
• Budget control of RFS and weekly extraction of MIT Balance
• Assist for Year-end Inventory Count
