Inventory Accounting Associate

Location: Libis, Quezon City
Work Setup: Onsite | Monday to Friday

Salary: ₱23,000–₱26,000 per month

About the Role

We are looking for an Inventory Accounting Associate to maintain accurate inventory records, reconcile stock balances, monitor inventory movements, and support inventory costing and financial reporting.

The role works closely with Warehouse, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to ensure inventory transactions are properly recorded and inventory controls are consistently followed.

Key Responsibilities

• Record inventory accounting transactions and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Reconcile physical inventory counts with ERP records and General Ledger balances.
• Investigate inventory variances, stock discrepancies, and unusual stock movements.
• Review stock count results and coordinate the posting of approved inventory adjustments.
• Monitor inventory aging and identify obsolete, damaged, and slow-moving stocks.
• Support physical inventory counts and cycle count activities.
• Ensure consistent application of inventory valuation and costing methods.
• Analyze landed costs, imported inventory transactions, and cost allocations.
• Prepare inventory reports, supporting schedules, and variance analyses.
• Coordinate with relevant teams to resolve inventory discrepancies and improve processes.
• Recommend improvements to inventory controls and operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, audit requirements, and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in inventory accounting, inventory reconciliation, or cost accounting.
• Good knowledge of inventory valuation, costing, stock reconciliation, variance analysis, and landed cost accounting.
• Experience in retail, FMCG, manufacturing, distribution, or importation is highly preferred.
• Experience using ERP systems and inventory management platforms is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail.
• Willing to work onsite in Libis, Quezon City, Monday to Friday.
• Immediate availability or a short notice period is a strong advantage.
