INVENTORY ANALYST

About the role

DHL Supply Chain Phils., Inc. is seeking an Inventory Analyst to join our team in Bustos, Bulacan. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in optimising our inventory management operations and ensuring efficient supply chain performance. As an Inventory Analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring stock levels, analysing inventory data, and implementing strategies to minimise costs whilst maintaining service excellence. This role is integral to the success of our logistics operations and directly impacts the company's profitability and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse inventory levels across all warehouses and distribution centres to ensure optimal stock management
• Conduct regular inventory audits and reconciliations to maintain accurate records and identify discrepancies
• Prepare detailed inventory reports and forecasts to support decision-making by management and stakeholders
• Identify and investigate inventory variances, implement corrective actions, and track their effectiveness
• Collaborate with procurement, operations, and warehouse teams to improve inventory accuracy and efficiency
• Analyse demand patterns and seasonal trends to support purchasing and planning decisions
• Implement inventory control procedures and best practices to reduce waste and improve stock rotation
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory turnover, stockout rates, and carrying costs
• Utilise inventory management systems and tools to track stock movement and generate analytical reports
• Support the development and implementation of inventory policies and procedures

What we're looking for

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
• 2-3 years of experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or procurement roles
• Strong proficiency with inventory management systems and Microsoft Excel for data analysis
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and reporting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across multiple departments
• Knowledge of supply chain principles, inventory control methods, and logistics operations
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software is advantageous
• Knowledge of Philippines logistics and supply chain industry standards is preferred
