Inventory Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Review and validate inventory transactions, stock records, and supporting documents to ensure accuracy.

• Supervise and review the work of the Order Processing Officer, ensuring inventory data is entered correctly

• Coordinate stock count schedules with branch teams to arrange inventory audits.

• Verify stock count results, goods receipt records, and inventory discrepancies.

• Review and monitor Purchase Orders (POs), including urgent transactions requiring prompt verification.

• Investigate inventory variances and recommend corrective actions to improve inventory accuracy.

• Prepare inventory reports and support process improvements.

• Collaborate with Area Managers, Store Managers, and cross-functional teams to resolve inventory-related issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Experience in inventory control, inventory accounting, stock audit, or a related accounting function.
• Strong knowledge of inventory reconciliation and stock verification processes.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are required.
• Good command of English with the ability to communicate with internal stakeholders.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
