Inventory Analyst

About the role

This role is responsible for ensuring 100% inventory record accuracy for both finished goods and RPM, managing cycle counts, and maintaining accurate system inventory balances. The position involves reconciliation of monthly inventory variance reports, preparation of inventory-related reports, and oversight of stock conversions for damaged, expired, and non-performing inventory.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure 100% inventory record accuracy on both finished goods and RPM
• Ensure performance of cycle counts and reconcile all variances within set timelines
• Ensure accurate and timely updates of system inventory balance
• Reconcile monthly inventory variance reports and prepare monthly inventory-related reports
• Encode inventory documents such as incoming shipments, Finish Goods Receiving Report (FGRR), Stock Transfer Advise (STA), and Delivery Receipt (DR) to Netsuite
• Summarize count results, validate variances to physical documents, and analyse inventory movement
• Monitor critical and out of stock items at finished goods warehouse and communicate with production and sales
• Prepare out of stock reports and NPR distribution reports
• Account for and file all pertinent inventory-related documents

About you

• 1-2 years experience specializing in inventory management or equivalent
• Knowledgeable in inventory management with analytical skills and keen attention to detail
• Extensive knowledge in analysis of inventory transactions and reports to identify process, system, and tracing of deficiencies and variances
• Knowledgeable in SAP/Netsuite and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Expertise in MS VLOOKUP function
• Multi-tasker with strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with different levels in the organization
