Inventory Analyst

Job Summary

The Inventory Analyst is responsible for monitoring inventory levels, analyzing stock movement and demand patterns, and preparing demand forecasts to support accurate inventory planning. The role ensures that inventory availability is aligned with business requirements while minimizing excess, slow-moving, and stock-out risks.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor inventory levels, stock movement, aging, and availability across branches, warehouses, and locations.
• Analyze historical sales, inventory trends, seasonality, and demand patterns to support accurate forecasting.
• Prepare and maintain regular demand forecasts based on historical data, current sales trends, promotions, and business requirements.
• Identify potential stock-outs, overstock, excess, and slow-moving inventory and recommend appropriate actions.
• Coordinate with Sales, Procurement, Warehouse, and Operations teams regarding inventory requirements and forecast changes.
• Review actual demand versus forecast and identify variances, trends, and areas for improvement.
• Assist in determining appropriate inventory levels, reorder points, and replenishment requirements.
• Prepare inventory, demand, forecasting, and stock movement reports for management review.
• Support inventory planning for new products, promotions, seasonal demand, and business expansion.
• Maintain accurate inventory and forecasting data and ensure timely updating of reports.
• Analyze SKU performance and provide recommendations on inventory allocation and replenishment.
• Assist in developing and improving inventory and forecasting processes and tools.
• Perform other related analytical and inventory planning tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in inventory analysis, demand planning, forecasting, supply chain, or a related role.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with good attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of pivot tables, lookup functions, and data analysis is required.
• Knowledge of demand forecasting, inventory planning, and replenishment principles.
• Able to analyze large amounts of data and translate findings into actionable recommendations.

Pay: Php25,000.00 - Php30,000.00 per month
