Inventory Analyst

We are looking for an Inventory Analyst to maintain accurate inventory records by properly encoding stock transactions into the company’s accounting or inventory management system. The role will monitor inventory movements, reconcile system records, and coordinate with different departments to ensure accurate and updated inventory data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately encode and update inventory transactions in the accounting/ERP system.
• Record and monitor inventory receipts, issuances, transfers, returns, and adjustments.
• Verify inventory entries against supporting documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Reconcile system records with physical inventory and investigate discrepancies.
• Coordinate with Warehouse, Accounting, Purchasing, and Production regarding inventory concerns.
• Maintain accurate records of raw materials, supplies, and finished goods.
• Assist with physical and cycle inventory counts.
• Prepare inventory reports and summaries as required.
• Ensure inventory adjustments are properly documented and approved.
• Maintain organized inventory documentation and support improvements in inventory accuracy.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• Preferably with experience in inventory encoding, inventory control, warehouse administration, or data entry.
• Experience using SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle, NetSuite, or other accounting/ERP systems is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including basic formulas, sorting, filtering, and data management.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling numerical and inventory data.
• Knowledge of basic accounting and inventory concepts is preferred.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Organized and able to manage a high volume of transactions and records.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Willing to conduct or assist with physical inventory counts when required.
