Inventory & Data Control Specialist

Job Overview

We are seeking an Inventory & Data Control Specialist to clean up and maintain our inventory database. The ideal candidate loves spreadsheets, is detail-oriented, and has strong attention to detail. Experience in either inventory management in Odoo (or similar ERP) or Python is a must. Monkey Wrench is a quickly growing retail company and is looking to fully standardize our data and processes before we continue growing in other areas.

Duties

• Rolling physical inventories
• Manage Odoo inventory
• Prep and upload vendor price list updates to Odoo
• Manage Discontinued products
• Create new part numbers
• Maintain customer price lists as vendor prices change
• Creating missing purchase orders for new stock items
• Evaluating open POs monthly
• Manage supplies write offs
• Review historical inventory transactions to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies
• Finds root causes for inventory errors and shrink, work with the team to create processes to avoid future errors

Experience

• Exceptional Excel skills
• Experience working in Odoo or similar ERP inventory management is strongly preferred
• Experience in Python required if no similar ERP experience
• Must be comfortable using a stepladder and order picker (drivable lift)
• Must be able to lift 50lb
• Ability to stand, walk and move throughout the warehouse for extended periods
• Must be at least proficient in excel
• An ability to think clearly, take initiative, prioritize tasks and work independently
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate data, identify trends and determine root causes

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
