Inventory & E-Commerce Associate

Cynos Express LLC is an e-commerce company based in East Rutherford, NJ, building and operating a portfolio of brands sold across major online marketplaces. How This Job Works

This position is structured in two distinct phases:

• Phase 1 (Starting Now): You start immediately on a focused warehouse inventory project. Your only focus is counting physical stock, organizing shelves, and matching the counts in our master Google Sheet.
• Phase 2 (If Successful): For someone reliable, detail-oriented, and accurate with numbers, this project converts directly into our permanent E-Commerce & Inventory Associate position with expanded daily responsibilities and long-term stability.

Phase 1: Inventory Associate

What You Will do:

• Rebuild & Maintain the Inventory Sheet: Overhaul our current inventory spreadsheet with accurate stock counts and daily sales numbers.
• Channel Stock Reconciliation: Cross-reference master spreadsheet inventory against active listings across seller accounts (Amazon, Walmart, eBay etc.) to guarantee counts align 1:1.

Qualifications:

• Basic computer skills (comfortable typing and entering numbers into Google Sheets or Excel).
• High accuracy with numbers and SKU codes—attention to detail is essential.
• Punctual, dependable, and self-directed.
• Able to stand, walk around the warehouse, and lift boxes up to 20–25 lbs.

Phase 2: E-Commerce and Inventory Position (Permanent Position)

What You Will Do (In addition to Phase 1 Duties):

• Customer Service Management: Manage customer messaging across all e-commerce channels, resolving delivery exceptions, missing item inquiries, and returns promptly and professionally.
• Physical Inventory Control: Receive inbound deliveries, verify packing slips against physical contents, bin products efficiently, and perform periodic physical cycle counts.
• Order Fulfillment: Daily picking, packing, and fulfillment workflows when shipment volume requires floor support.
• Channel Health & Account Maintenance: Monitor seller portals (Amazon, Walmart, eBay, TikTok Shop, etc.) daily to ensure all accounts remain in excellent standing. Proactively address policy warnings, stranded inventory, listing suppressed alerts, and performance metrics before they impact sales.
• Process Maintenance: Document simple, repeatable logging steps so inventory updates are consistently captured as orders move in and out.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
