Inventory & Packing Specialist

1. Inventory Management & Stock Control

• Receive, inspect, and unload incoming stock shipments from suppliers or central warehouses.
• Verify received quantities against purchase orders, delivery notes, and shipping invoices; report missing or damaged items immediately.
• Barcode, tag, and organize stock in store stockrooms and display shelves according to retail storage standards.
• Conduct regular stock counts, cycle counts, and audits to maintain inventory system accuracy.
• Monitor stock levels and flag low-stock, out-of-stock, or slow-moving items to management.

2. Packing & Order Fulfillment

• Pick, organize, and pack products for customer orders, online purchases, or inter-store transfers.
• Ensure all packed items match customer invoice/order details precisely regarding size, color, quantity, and SKU.
• Utilize proper packaging materials (bubble wrap, boxes, protective tissue) to ensure fragile or high-value items arrive safely.
• Label, seal, and route outbound packages to delivery drivers or logistics partners in a timely manner.
• Package gift wraps or special merchandise per retail customer specifications.

3. Store Support & Merchandising

• Assist with restocking sales floor display shelves, racks, and endcaps during operating hours.
• Ensure backroom storage areas are kept clean, organized, secure, and clear of safety hazards.
• Process defective, damaged, or returned goods according to company return policies.
