Inventory Assistant

Job Summary

The Inventory Assistant – Forecasting is responsible for monitoring stock flow, reviewing consumption trends, preparing inventory projections, and coordinating material requirements to ensure the availability of materials and tools when needed. The role also supports the ordering and receiving process through purchase order preparation, supplier coordination, and accurate inventory documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor stock levels, movement, and consumption; identify fast- and slow-moving items and replenishment needs.
• Monitor site and project status and coordinate with Sales and Technical teams regarding material requirements and Bill of Materials (BOM).
• Prepare inventory forecasts and projection reports based on consumption and project requirements.
• Prepare Purchase Orders based on projected requirements and coordinate the approval process.
• Coordinate with suppliers regarding orders, shipments, delivery schedules, ETD/ETA, and other concerns.
• Review packing lists and verify received materials against Purchase Orders.
• Coordinate with suppliers regarding shortages, discrepancies, or defective materials.
• Prepare Goods Receipt Purchase Orders (GRPO), Goods Issue, and Goods Receipt documents.
• Maintain accurate and updated inventory records and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or any related field.
• Analytical and detail-oriented, with good organizational and coordination skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to coordinate effectively with internal departments and foreign suppliers.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, comfortable and confident in working with inventory data, consumption reports, and projections.
• Preferably with experience in inventory, forecasting, purchasing, supply chain, logistics, or related functions.
