Inventory Assistant – Cacao Beans and Cacao SeedlingsJOB SUMMARY

The Inventory Assistant is responsible for supporting the accurate monitoring and recording of cacao beans, cacao seedlings, and other related materials. The role involves physical inventory counting, data encoding, inventory reconciliation, documentation, and coordination with the warehouse, nursery, and other concerned departments.

This position is suitable for fresh graduates who are detail-oriented, organized, willing to learn, and interested in agriculture, cacao, inventory, or supply chain operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in conducting regular physical inventory counts of cacao beans, seedlings, and other materials.
• Encode and update inventory records accurately using Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or company systems.
• Assist in comparing physical inventory against system records and identifying discrepancies.
• Help monitor and record inventory movements, receipts, transfers, releases, and adjustments.
• Prepare basic inventory reports, monitoring sheets, and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate with warehouse, nursery, and other departments regarding inventory records and discrepancies.
• Maintain organized and updated inventory files and documents.
• Assist in monitoring the proper identification, labeling, and recording of cacao beans and seedlings.
• Support inventory reconciliation and other inventory-related activities as assigned.
• Perform other related tasks that may be assigned by the supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Accounting, or other related fields.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Basic understanding of inventory, stock monitoring, or record-keeping is an advantage but not required.
• Knowledge or interest in cacao, agriculture, farming, or agricultural products is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Organized and able to maintain accurate records.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Willing to perform physical inventory counts and work in warehouse, nursery, or field environments when needed.
• Willing to travel or conduct field visits as required.
• Can work independently and as part of a team.
