Inventory Assistant / Storekeeper

Job Description / Responsibilities

• Storage and Organization of goods in assigned spots.
• Check incoming deliveries against purchase orders.
• Monitor / Look for missing or broken items.
• Inventory control & track stock numbers in a database & run regular count to find missing items.
• Resolves conflicts related to inventory, quality, and delivery.
• Issuing Stock / materials to staff or ship orders out safely.
• Safety and Cleanliness: Keep walkways clear and follow safety rules
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations related to inventory activities.
• Support the business in achieving its strategic objectives and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Desired profile of the candidate

• Proven experience as a storekeeper or similar role, preferably in manufacturing/trade.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams.

Physical Demands:

• While performing the duties of this job the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands and or arms to pull handles and push buttons and reach objects.

• Requirements may also include climbing, balancing, stooping, bending, reaching, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 12 kg.

• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Desired work experience

Prefer 1+ years of experience in inventory / store / similar role.
