Inventory Control Assistant

SYSPAL LTD is a market leader in the Innovation, Design and Manufacture of aluminium and stainless-steel equipment for a wide range of industries including food, pharmaceutical, veterinary and medical both UK and worldwide. As a result of our continued success, we are looking to recruit a Team Leader What you'll do:

• Issuing goods to shop floor and delivering shop order kits
• Liaising with departments about W.I.P material issues
• Booking in goods – raw materials and spare parts and within specific time frames
• Checking the quality of materials
• Stock Taking, including perpetual throughout the year
• To ensure that all safety procedures and systems are followed
• Good understanding of 5S
• Keep on top of tidying the outside area
• Unload and check in pallet deliveries
• Emptying raw material skips from the sheet shop
• Loading finished products into crates on the shop floor when needed
• Assisting with despatch to load/unload necessary orders
• Comply with all Health and Safety regulations as well as all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP`s)

What we're looking for:

• FLT Operator Desirable
• Previous experience working within a fast paced manufacturing environment
• Good organisational skills
• Good time keeping and punctual
• The ability to use own initiative is essential
• Must be able to work both within a team and as an individual
• Excellent communication skills

To enjoy that important work / life balance you will work Monday to Thursday 7.00am – 4.00pm and 7.00am – 1.00pm on a Friday.
