Shift Timings: Week 1: Monday – Thursday, 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Week 2: Monday – Wednesday, 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Pay Rate: $23.00-$25.00/hr

Job Description:

• The Assistant III supports daily warehouse and materials operations at client, with a strong focus on inventory control, material accuracy, and production support.
• This role ensures materials are available, accurately tracked, and safely handled, while supporting internal customers, third party logistics providers, and production teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day operations of the crib, loading bays, and storage areas
• Coordinate activities with third-party logistics and warehouse service providers
• Interface with internal customers to resolve material shortages, supply discrepancies, and machine downtime situations
• Issue materials to production as required, ensuring accurate system transactions and traceability
• Receive and inspect incoming goods for quality, quantity, and compliance with purchase order and safety requirements
• Perform routine and ad-hoc cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy; investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions
• Maintain accurate inventory records in materials management systems and virtual crib platforms
• Monitor inventory levels to support reorder points, reduce excess inventory, and prevent stockouts
• Ensure proper material labeling, storage location accuracy, and stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO where applicable)
• Support Point of Use (POU) delivery systems to production areas
• Track, locate, and expedite material deliveries as required
• Provide shift coverage on short notice as operational needs arise
• Ensure compliance with client Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in:
• Inventory management and control
• Warehouse operations
• Forklift operation
• Customer service and inventory systems

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree
• Experience supporting manufacturing, production, or supply chain environments
• Strong attention to detail and data integrity
• Proven ability to investigate inventory variances and improve processes

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 45 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach for extended periods during a 12-hour shift
• Ability to safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment
• Ability to work in warehouse and production areas with varying temperatures and noise levels
