Inventory Control Executive

About the role

This role involves managing inventory control, stock management, sales reporting and uncollection monitoring across multiple outlets. You will verify stock adjustments, reconcile inventory records, prepare sales reports, and ensure compliance with company procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and verify stock adjustment requests submitted by outlets to ensure the requests are accurate, reasonable and properly recorded
• Check stock variance, stock movement and inventory discrepancies by comparing system records, outlet records and supporting documents
• Ensure all stock adjustments are supported with proper documents, valid reasons and necessary approval before any adjustment is processed
• Update, maintain and reconcile stock records in the system to ensure inventory information is accurate and up to date
• Assist in identifying stock errors, system mistakes, missing items, incorrect item codes, wrong quantity entries or incorrect transactions
• Support stock checking, stock audit and inventory control activities to maintain proper stock accuracy across outlets
• Check sales reports by item, product category and outlet to ensure sales records are accurate and properly recorded
• Prepare item sales summary reports for management review, including monthly sales reports by outlet and product item according to the company's reporting format
• Check uncollected sales, outstanding collections or pending customer collections and prepare the necessary reports for management review
• Maintain proper filing and documentation for stock adjustment records, sales reports, uncollection reports and supporting documents

About you

• Minimum Diploma or equivalent qualification
• Experience in inventory control, stock adjustment, stock checking, retail operations, sales reporting or administrative support is an advantage
• Basic computer knowledge, especially Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets and inventory or sales reporting systems
• Able to work with numbers, reports, stock records and sales data accurately
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy and organization
• Responsible, honest and able to follow company procedures and reporting deadlines
• Able to communicate and follow up with outlet staff, stock team and management professionally
