Job Summary

Energy Chain & Sling is seeking a reliable Store & Inventory Specialist to manage daily store operations, shipping, receiving, and inventory control. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for store customers and provide dedicated parts, material, and logistics support to keep shop and field orders moving efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Store Counter & Customer Support: Greet and assist walk-in retail/commercial customers, answer product inquiries, and issue parts, slings, and energy chain components directly from the store inventory.
• Order Fulfillment & Shop Support: Accurately pull, stage, and kit orders for customer pickup and shop support, ensuring correct parts and hardware are ready on schedule.
• Shipping & Receiving: Unpack, inspect, and log incoming stock into inventory. Securely pack outgoing parcel and freight shipments, generating shipping labels via UPS, FedEx, or LTL carriers.
• Inventory Control: Perform regular cycle counts, bin audits, and inventory reconciliations within the software system. Monitor stock thresholds to ensure core store products are always available.
• Store Maintenance: Keep the store layout, bin locations, and shelving clean, organized, fully stocked, and clearly labeled.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: 1–3 years in an industrial retail store, inventory, or shipping/receiving role.
• Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy for processing sales, searching inventory systems, and printing shipping paperwork.
• Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 75 lbs, operate hand trucks or pallet jacks, and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Core Competencies: Friendly customer service mindset, sharp attention to detail, and reliable organizational skills.

Work Environment & Compensation

• Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday 7am to 5pm.
• Pay Rate: $15.00–$20.00 / hour (commensurate with experience).
